Remember - You Don't Have to Do It All
Holy Week is like the Super Bowl for most church leaders. It is a weird mix of hype, guests, and a genuine opportunity to preach the Gospel to someone who hasn’t heard it before.
That’s what I always loved most about what happens on Easter morning; THE Church is preaching the Gospel - the tomb is EMPTY! He has risen! I just love it, and I love the simplicity of the whole thing. What a glorious celebration.
And I also know the immense amount of pressure it puts on church leaders.
