As a frequent airline passenger, I am quick to dismiss the safety briefing at the beginning of the flight. Let’s be honest - you probably do too. We’ve all heard it a million times, we know the gist, and we are all also praying that we never have to use anything that they are suggesting.

I think this happens in leadership as well. We get into a busy season, we begin to just roll, and eventually, we have ignored the things in our life that are there for our own safety.

I know I’ve done it on several occasions, and unfortunately when I ignore the signs I’m headed straight for a crash.
